Global Radio is a complete, polished internet radio app for iPhone, written 100% in Swift and SwiftUI. It plays over 50,000 working live stations from 240+ countries out of the box, using the free public Radio Browser directory. No backend to host, no API key and no third-party library – open it in Xcode, press Run and you're listening to live radio.

Screens
Onboarding (3 pages) · Home · Featured carousel · Moods & genres · Popular near you · Trending worldwide · Full-screen player · Mini player · Sleep timer · Report a problem · Station details with "More like this" · Search with filters · Genre, country and language lists · Tuner · Favorites · Recently played · Settings · About · Privacy Policy · Terms of Use
Reliable playback
- One audio engine, so two stations can never play at once
- If a station doesn't answer, the app tries its backup address, then retries 3 times with growing waits, then shows a clear error with Retry and Report
- Reconnects automatically when the internet comes back
- Pauses for phone calls and when headphones or Bluetooth disconnect
- Offline cache, so Home still shows without a connection
- Saved favorites update their logos and stream addresses automatically
Easy to customize
- App name, support email and links in one config file
- Brand colors in one theme file, and a single 1024 px icon to replace
- Genre tiles, welcome screens and legal text are easy to edit
- Clean, well-organized code: Models, Data, Playback and UI layers
- Detailed README covering setup, rebranding and App Store publishing
Tested
- 23 automated logic tests
- Every directory endpoint checked live, plus 63 real station streams
- 3 minutes of background playback with steady memory use
- Builds with zero warnings on Xcode 26

Notes
Stations come from the public Radio Browser directory. Station names, logos and audio belong to their owners; the app streams directly from stations and does not host or record audio. Not included: your own server catalog or admin panel, in-app purchases or ads, CarPlay, widgets and Android.
