CWPOS Parcels & Package Pickup - Add-on
This is an add-on for CWPOS. It requires an existing CWPOS installation (version 1.0.0 or later). It is not a standalone application.
Add a complete parcel and package-pickup workflow to your CWPOS install: take an item in, hold it, find it fast at pickup, capture the recipient's signature on screen, release it, and print a receipt - with a full audit trail behind every step.
Built for couriers, mailrooms, repair shops, dry cleaners, and any business that hands items over against a signature. Recipients can link to your existing CWPOS customer list or be entered on the spot for walk-ins.
Workflow
- Intake - log a package with recipient, reference, and notes
- Awaiting - searchable list of everything held for pickup
- Pickup - find by name or reference, capture an on-screen signature
- Release & receipt - hand over and print a clean receipt
- Pickup log & report - full history with a summary report
- Audit trail - every action recorded
Installation
- Drop-in module - extract into your CWPOS
addons/folder - Auto-enables; a "Parcels" section appears in the sidebar
- No database server - uses CWPOS flat-file JSON storage
- Install guide included (README)
Requirements
- A working CWPOS installation, v1.0.0 or later
- PHP 7.4+ (same as CWPOS)
Don't have CWPOS yet? Get the CWPOS Point of Sale system first, then add this module.
