HTML5 Video Background

Does not work in Firefox 9, 10, or 11 according to online browser compatibility tests with default settings and no add-ons! Works fine in Chrome 17, and 18 and IE 8 and 9.
Why not Firefox as your picture indicates as the first logo listed!?
Has this been tested in Firefox by the developer? Help please.

In response to flashblue's reply, I just tested on another PC running Firefox and the video portion will not show, yet Chrome and Internet Explorer it will show the video fine. (FYI, I uploaded the 'deploy' folder and ran the index.html file that was in the 'deploy' folder in various browsers.)

As I stated earlier, it will run the index.html file with the supplied videos in Chrome and Internet Explorer, but it will not show the video background in Firefox...only the picture/description box. on both PC's that I tested.

Strangely, your link to view 'Full Screen Preview' in Firefox works fine!

I just am trying to figure this out and get an answer.

Could you please add an instruction for this issue to your help file?

In case of problems with Firefox browsers,
create a ".htaccess" file with the following content:

AddType audio/ogg oga ogg
AddType video/ogg ogv

Upload the ".htaccess" into the directory with the HTML file containing the video background.

How large a video file can I use practically speaking on a website?? Can it be hosted at a video server? Is that mandatory?

Hi, I have purchased this code but am having problems with the display.. :-(

I have set it so that the video plays automatically, and if you pause the video you are displayed a static background image,

However, Sometimes it works perfectly, and some times (usually when I'm trying to demonstrate to the client!!) it won't display the video or the background image , it just shows a white background with my content slightly messed up, and small parts of the background image only displaying as and when you hover over the video controls!!.. please help!..

Hi I just implement the code, it was straight forward, and works nicely, but I am trying to test the content before I update my site, and wonder if the these works on iPhone's safari browser,

Ok video works now, but when I play videoon the screen, it hide the page, only showing the video, and if I hit done on the screen then I can see the video behind the page, with the pause simbol but it will not play like in a regular desktop. it will be stoped, is these a limitation on the iphone browser?

I have downloaded your software, and everything works fine, until I put it onto our live server. Even the "deploy" file I got with my download (which I have not touched) looks very strange on Chrome (haven't tested with I.E. yet. Please have a look and see if it looks strange on your side as well, and if so, what is wrong??

The instructions do not say which video formats can be used. I only see two examples - mp4 and ogg which I never use.

Can I use mpg??

hey very useful product, thanks a lot, but i just have this little issue...
in the top and in the bottom of my video there's some kind of grey border and i dont know how to make it disappear... heres a pic of it, i hope you can helpme as soon as posible.
