Yes, you must advertise your items - the people all around the world must see your works, so you need to submit your items to mode web sites.

I'm thinking of listing some of my scripts on here, as an additional sales funnel. I have done some research, and accept that 40% will be paid to Codegrape. However, these monies are paid for work that Codegrape do to promote sales. I wondered, just exactly what does Codegrape do in order to improve on sales? Do you advertise on Google Adwords and Facebook Ads? Do you have banners via eBay and Amazon? Do you actively promote affiliate schemes through services such as AffiliateJunction?

Is there any transparency reporting on the monies spent monthly/yearly on advertising, versus the income streams?

From the above comments, it does seem on the face of it that advertising is made to be the responsibility of the coders, which does seem unfair considering the 40% deductions.
